2017 Raleigh Children’s Business Fair

Saturday, October 7, 2017, 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.

The Commons at North Hills – Raleigh, North Carolina

What is the Children’s Business Fair?

The Children’s Business Fair inspires children to discover their inner entrepreneur in a one-day, pop-up market. Since its creation in Austin, Texas, thousands of children across the country have participated in this unique and fun learning opportunity.  Originally created by Acton Academy founders Jeff and Laura Sandefer, groups across the country now are hosting their own versions of the Fair, tailored for their communities.   At the 2nd Annual Raleigh Children’s Business Fair, up to 40 youth-run businesses will be selling their original products and merchandise on Saturday, October 7, from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. at The Commons at North Hills.  Last year, we welcomed over 300 shoppers and hope to again make this an interactive experience for our young sellers and community shoppers.

How to participate

Children between the ages of 6-14 on October 7 are eligible to apply for a booth!  Up to three children may work together, however one application should be submitted per business.  For more information and a link to our online application, visit our participant details.
